The milky sap flowing from the stems of marsh milkweed in the air condenses and dries to form small grains of a pale yellow color, with extremely sharp, acrid taste.

Doctors advise, grind it with fresh butter or lard, use as an ointment for cleansing mangy scab, warts, corns and volatile ognevok.

The juice of milkweed stalk torn, to let in a rotting tooth, helps in dental pain, often stopping it completely.

As a lotion for ulcers and for rubbing the paralyzed parts of the body to drink alcohol tincture milkweed; for cooking – 1 oz condensed juice is put into 8 ounces of ethyl alcohol. Allow it to stand for three days and filtered.
