The breed of sheep Akzhayik existence dates back to Kazakhstan. Akzhayik sheep created in the 70-90-ies of the last century as a meat-wool breed. The process of withdrawal was delayed due to the complicated cross between totally different species (local Kazakh Lincoln and Romney Marsh).

A new breed has started to give a pretty good shearing and good meat. With Akzhayik breed adult can receive from 2.5 to 5 kg of wool, which is 60% pure. Sheep good gain in weight and do not get sick.
