Одна самка за год может снести от 90 до 160 яиц. Птенцов можно пускать на тушку, начиная с возраста 90 дней, тогда их вес достигает 1,2 – 1,3 кг. Яйца самка откладывает желтого цвета в 45 г с достаточно толстой скорлупой. Благодаря этому, яйца могут долго храниться и не пострадают во время перевозки.
