Characteristics and breeding gakne breed description and photo
The first mention of the breed in the 18th century, when crossed norflskuyu Yorkshire and horses. A century later, the tall horse gakne crossed with the classic pony, a new breed of undersized pony – gakne.
These horses in adulthood are at the withers of 13 palms from the ground, but relative to body size, the limbs are quite long because of what a well-developed stride. Beautiful gait makes gakne pony star on arenas and exhibitions. Due to the small size of ponies used exclusively in harness.
