View Sugar squirrels (family flying possums) lives in the northern state of Australia, as well as on the islands of King, Flinders, Macquarie. Externally small animal did not look like a normal protein. This animal gray small size, with multi-colored fluffy body. The back, gray possum ears, the front part is white, milky head with a gray stripe on the back of his head. Large black eyes, little pink nose make this look like a squirrel plush toy. But few know that this little “toy” animal can jump a distance of fifty meters!

Flying squirrels feed on sap of eucalyptus trees, the fruits of fruit trees, some plants.

Family flying possums has twenty-three species of their own kind. Aude striped possums includes a further four species. These animals inhabit the island of New Guinea, as well as other nearby islands.

Some possums but jumps the farthest distance can fly at low altitude.

On average, flying squirrels live up to nine years in a wild jungle. But in a more secure environment for them (zoos, nature reserves) brachycephalic squirrels can live up to twelve years.
