Homeland Barbary breed goats are hot India and Pakistan. In these places the locals were engaged in the cultivation of the goats for milk and meat production.
The breed belongs to the middle-heavy type of meat and dairy. Barbary pretty hasty. Goats at birth weigh only 1.5 – 2 kg, but after a couple of months on breast milk, gain up to 6.5 kg, and at the age of six months, weigh about 8-9 kg. When youngsters celebrate 1 year, their weight range from 15 to 16 kg. Adult goats Barbary under standard conditions of the maximum can dial up to 50 kg, and goats – up to 30 kg.
